This recipe was a random find online when I needed a dish for a breakfast potluck. It's so yummy and easy.
Ingredients
1 large can of refrigerated flaky biscuits
1 lb ground breakfast sausage
3 Tbsp flour
2 1/2 cups whole milk
salt and pepper
Prehead oven to 400, spray 7 x 11 dish with cooking spray. Cut biscuits into quarters, layer half in bottom of dish. Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Brown sausage in skillet, mix in flour and cook 3-4 minutes. Add milk, salt and pepper. Stir at low boil until slightly thickened. Pour gravy over baked biscuits and top with remaining biscuit pieces. Bake for 10 minutes, then cover with foil and bake another 10 minutes until top biscuits are golden brown.
