Passage Cape Verde to Barbados

Hazy day leaving Mindelo
Sahara dust clouds the harbor
But it clears outside for a boisterous ride between islands
Last look at the Cape Verde Islands
Just a jib pulls us along for a while
Sunrise day two
Then an egret shows up for a ride 100+ miles away from shore
He rides along on the lifesling as long as he can hang on
I added some water to a roll hoping to keep him from dying of thirst
Then added a flying fish for dinner but happy to say the mate came along and they flew off together
